Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Our Kiwanis club supports our community, showing how your involvement can make a real difference locally and beyond. The diagram below shows the priorities found in our mission statement: To provide support for children of all ages through fellowship, quality service leadership programs, meaningful community service, education, and financial support.
The Kiwanis Mission
For over a century, Kiwanis has empowered children to explore, feel safe, and lead healthy lives, no matter their community. By providing them with opportunities to learn, dream, and thrive, we unlock their potential and inspire remarkable possibilities. Together, we can make a lasting difference in their lives!
Join the West Valley Kiwanis Club
Interested in volunteering for meaningful causes in your community? Do you like helping kids, having fun, and feeling connected to your community? Why not consider joining us for our next community service or youth project? The kids in your community and the world are counting on you!
Meetings are held at the Wide Hollow Elementary School Library on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. They begin promptly at 7:00 PM and end no later than 8:00 PM. Agendas cover regular club business, fun activities, and educational programs featuring local speakers. Club committee meetings and social activities are also scheduled throughout the year.
Are you ready to help create communities where all children can thrive, prosper, and grow? It’s easy to do! Attend a meeting, help us with a service project, and apply today for an individual or corporate Kiwanis club membership!
To ensure the children we serve are protected, Our Board of Directors approves all applications following a Kiwanis background check (fee paid is by the West Valley Kiwanis Club).
